Tributes

Jana Smith says:

Michael was good morning every morning for years on the school bus. He put the pep in pep rally. He loved his Moore County Raiders, and he was loved right back. He brought those football stands to life every Friday night, and I’ll never forget the cheers from those same stands when he graduated in 1990. He brought joy and smiles to anyone lucky enough to know or interact with him. Michael was my friend, and he will be missed.

Janet Holt Baker says:

Much love, hugs, and prayers for the whole family. I remember Michael sat up close to the front of the bus everyday, and you could always expect a high five and good morning. He was the most loyal Raider fan always in his Moore Co. Blue.

Charlene Reynolds says:

Searcy family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Although I did not know him, he sounds like someone I would have liked to know. I was in the same class as Shirley. May the special memories you all hold dear give you comfort. Having just lost a brother in December, it helps me to talk about him and remember. Prayers for comfort and healing.

Dan Boyd says:

May Michael's soul forever rest in peace. He is safely at home with his beloved mother and grandparents.

Junior Shumake says:

I just seen where Michael passed. My prayers go out to the entire family. May our Father in heaven give you all the strength and comfort during these trying times. What a awesome guy. I couldn't wait for the bus to run. Myself, Forrest Bryan, Mike Simmons, and Brent Neese would be waiting up front for his arrival. He would hang out with us every morning before the bell rang. Michael was truly a angel and a inspiration to myself as well as may others. Rest in peace my brother. You will be forever missed.

Someone who cares says:

“And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
My sincere condolences to the Searcy family and those who knew and loved Michael on the loss of your dear loved one. May these words of Revelation 21:4 from our Heavenly Father Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) give you a measure of comfort and strength to endure during this time of grief and deep sorrow.
The Bible promises at Acts 24:15 of a resurrection, and John 5:28,29 gives us a real hope of being reunited with our dead loved ones. If you need answers to life’s big questions such as: Will suffering ever end and Can the dead really live again? The answer is yes!

Dolon Peete says:

My thoughts are with you and the family and how painful it is to lose a loved one. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May God's love and comfort be with you and the family.
“For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day.” John 6:40
